A new moon on Earth Day is a wonderful reminder of our connection to the Cosmos!
This New Moon, we are being asked to connect to, explore and enjoy our Inner Resources and our Outer Resources in ways that really will create sustainable living that reflects the true beauty of Taurean love.
On a collective level, this suggests appreciating the earth’s resources in new ways, supporting her regeneration and inventing new ways of living well with her.
In our personal lives, we can continue our deepening journey of creating magic through our connection to Love, Beauty, Art, Sensuality, and Love. And as always, we start with ourselves first.
Taurus is closely identified with how we embody our value – how we truly feel about ourselves.
As we move into preparation for the next cycle, it’s time to examine how we can love ourselves more deeply and authentically – how we can stand and look in the mirror and truly love what we see and feel.
Taurus reminds us to connect deeply with our sensual selves as well as offering us the reminder that we must maintain our personal temple – honor our bodies as a Temple of the Soul.
The sign of the bull demands stability and comfort. Luxury is self-defined, but you can be sure that Taurus’ love whatever they feel is luxurious!
Venus (the ruler of Taurus) is Aphrodite, Goddess of Love, Beauty, Money, Art, Music, and Self-Value. Deep in the myths of Aphrodite is embedded the powerful connection between love, sex, and sovereignty.
Our Inner (and outer) Goddesses will be delighting in the yummy connection this New Moon brings to our most radiant selves. If you’re not feeling particularly radiant, this New Moon can re-activate the ‘deliciosity’ in your body, mind, heart, soul, and life.
This New Moon is almost conjunct Uranus (aka The Grand Awakener) which brings unexpected opportunities, a need for more freedom, and powerful energetic transmissions to the area of your birth chart that is governed by Taurus.
Last year, for the first time in 84 years (since 1934), Uranus’ “Vibrant Powerhouse of energy offered to fill our well, to support our healing, and call forth the changes that are truly for our highest and best. With Uranus in Taurus, we will see what is ‘comfortable’ can be ‘even better’.”
In light of current experiences, what are we learning about change that will be better?
I feel the universe calling us deeper into the Divine Feminine that lives within us! With all the electrical energy of Uranus combining with Venus, we have the opportunity to ALIVE with LOVE.
Our access point for healing and sharing is grounded and sensual.
Connecting fully with the body and reveling in the fertility of the earth with the bountiful blooms of spring is THE ritual. Each and every day.
Literally, planting seeds into soil is one of the best ways to celebrate this New Moon. As you plant each seed, let it represent something you love about yourself! Let it be a reminder of your beauty, of your vitality and life.

Taurus has a strong desire nature! Taurus wants. Taurus holds onto. The shadow of this is quite strong – holding onto something (or someone) too long is a side-effect that can bring dis-ease into life or body. Releasing, shedding, transforming just like in nature is the key to health Taurus energy! But don’t try to tell a Taurus that – trust me!
Stabilizing our lives, giving and receiving more pleasure, and deepening into our self-love and love for life are the keys to open the doors of manifesting what we desire.
