New Moon in Gemini

This upcoming New Moon in Gemini may feel like it’s eclipsed by, well, an eclipse! Eclipses are common. They are, in fact, part of the New Moon every New Moon. But this is an Annular Solar Eclipse with a Ring of Fire – it is not common.[1] With this combination, the New Moon ALONG with the Eclipse is one of the most powerful events of the year.

This New Moon/Eclipse is conjunct Mercury (ruler of Gemini) in its retrograde motion as well as making some close (but not exact) connections with Juno and Neptune. In the background is the waning but oh-so-powerful Pluto-Mars Opposition and our ever-present Uranus-Saturn Square.

All of this to say these words: INTENSE. CURIOUS. DISCOVERY.

Gemini energy is quick and curious. Asking questions, allowing answers to surface in variety of ways and staying in ‘discovery mode’ is one of the foundations of Magic. The Cosmic Compass is pointing to exploring and learning in all directions! Going deeper into your own soul’s journey and returning with more clarity is part of the process.

Remembering the ancient wisdom in your body, mind, heart, and spirit is possible every new moon. This moon, in particular, reminds us to stay open to what we learn. Be curious. Stay curious.
