Even though 2020 has ended, the insight and on-going learning are still with us as we begin 2021 and enter the numerological cycle of Learning, Teaching & Learning which started with the foundational 4 year of Soulful, Creative & Conscious Leadership.
Honestly, I’m still processing all that happened in 2020…focusing on 2021 reminds me that we are always learning even while we are teaching! This entire decade is set up for growth and creating new structures.
This year, we will focus on family structures, friend groups, and community. We’ve already started. We continue in learning mode by doing what is best for our human family while making our nuclear families as comfortable as possible.
There will be lots of shifting this year – inner and outer change helped along by not only the 5 energy but Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius PLUS a Mercury retrograde in Aquarius starting the end of January.
This is the beginning of our collective cycle of teaching and learning.
It is time to deepen into what’s possible when we unlearn and open up to new perspectives.
As we begin, we look back:
- What did I learn last year?
- How will I integrate what I’ve learned?
- What more do I want to learn?
From the place of intuitive inquiry and curiosity, we look forward:
- Who do I want to learn with (community, pod, family)?
- How do I want to learn?
We are here. We have each other. We have ways of connecting.
- Where are you – literally and figuratively? Many of you have moved!
- What feels best about where you are right now?
- With whom are you spending time? How has that shifted? (If you are feeling grief here, please let it flow. If you are celebrating, please let it flow).
- For what are you grateful?
- How are you staying connected to yourself? To others (in the other realms and in this one)?
Sacred Geometry
We find sacred geometry everywhere in nature and in our cosmos. The number 5 is a very important gateway and portal for this momentous time.
Visually, the pentagram is one of the most readily recognized symbols of the Number 5.
5 energy is powerful! When you think of the 5-pointed star, think of how you draw yours…
- Where do you start?
- How do you cross over?
- Do you lift your writing instrument?
- How do you feel if the points are not equal or balanced (I call this ‘creative’)?
- If you close your eyes and draw the star, how does it look??
Hindu and Islamic teachings honored Sacred Geometry as a way of explaining the divine essence of holy ratios found in nature. Acknowledging how nature supports us through not only beauty but numbers and shapes was thought to bring us closer to God.
- What do you notice about numbers?
- How does the number 5 feel to you?
- What might it be saying to you?
The symbol of the pentagram reminds us of the 5 elements: fire, earth, air, water and metal. These elements are foundational for East Asian practices and healing. In the traditional European definition, the fifth point represents spirit.
There are so many ways to find the number 5 all around us!
Deepening Into the Mysticism of 5
The energy of this year requires you to have faith in a higher power as well as yourself. Cultivating this faith means connecting ever deeper with yourself and the collective (in healthy ways). Your higher power, your divine essence is calling to you.
Developing your relationship with yourself and your path is part of this year’s gift. As you deepen into what possible and commit to more self-care, you will be able to support others and offer your best to humanity. This year contains a powerful activation of your ‘light bearer’ ‘response-abilities’.
Engage in life and all activities with child-like wonder and curiosity. Be open. Feel the energy of life flowing through you.
Use your intuition to navigate change this year. Listen. Listen. Listen. And follow the flow of energy.
Connect with your own style of leadership.
- How are you here to serve and lead?
- What feels right for you to promote as a leader?
As you navigate any family situations that arise, remember to deepen your trust in a divine ‘plan’. What kind of support will be best for you as you work with the various family issues?
You are a bridge for others now.
Remember that your healing energy is needs refueling through moving your body. Take time for radical self-care.
